New Tyres and Spacers

Wow, what a difference in ride and comfort. I have just bought 4 new non run flats and fitted spacers at the same time. 15mm at the front and 20mm at the rear and it feels wonderful to drive now, before it seemed hard and rigid whenever you went over a bump. We are planning a trip in sept down to Nice via the alps for a two week drive. Cant wait to do that with this better set up. :D

I have 18 inch MV2 on at the moment, Just fitted 20mm hub centric spacers at the rear and 15mm on the front. they fill the arches with little room to spare so they look great. still raining here so no pics yet. I also changed tyres to non run flats and the ride and steering are 100% better.

I have MV2's too and I'm thinking of 20mm rear and 15mm front spacers.
Mine is the 3.0si so already 15mm lower, has anyone had any issues with these rubbing with the same set up. I see it's been about 1 month since Kat had them fitted, wondered if any issues had come up since then.

I've got a new set of Vred Sessantas going on next week after wheel refurb, don't want them rubbing. I had that with an Autovogue 335i. Lowered to the max with very wide rear rubber. rubbed all the time, I'd tense up over every bump. Not enjoyable.

Secondly, anyone have any advice over steel or aluminium spacers. I'm thinking aluminium for weight, but welcome the thoughts either way on both.

Here you go Tim,
just took these today and hopefully they show you what you need to see. I have noticed that with spacers the car is much more sensitive to having the correct tyre pressures.

Think I'm going to go 20R/15F. Aluminium.
It's not like it's a permanent mod, can always be removed. :)
 
Where's a good place to buy these spacers from?

Presumably you have to be even more careful not to kerb the wheels?
