As it was dry I decided to take it on a bit of a test drive. First thing I did was check the tyre pressures, the monkeys that replaced the tyres messed up the pressures, the fronts were 37 and 40 psi :O backs were about 34 psi.
With the Falkens I ran lower that factory settings as factory seemed too bumpy but as these F1's seem to absorb bumps better I set fronts as 33 and backs at 37.
Even with these pressures the tyres just soak up bumps much better than the Falkens and tyre noise is less (although I am yet to compare motorway driving). The front seems a bit light but I hope that once the tyres have worn a bit they will have a bit more bite. I think the realignment has also transformed the way it feels, less tugging on the steering it just feels a much nice place to be.
Once I have given them time to bed in and driven a bit more enthusiastically in warmer weather I'll give a more thorough review. But so far so good.
