New TopGear tonight 8pm BBC2

A lot more proper car stuff going on. I get the distinct impression they are trying everything out to see what people love and loath and maybe by the end of the series they will have found the perfect balance..........looks like CE will need to go then :lol:

I don't mind him, but then I've grown up watching him from a young age on big breakfast, TFI and don't forget you're toothbrush. I loved that show. But I do get why people may find him annoying.
 
Just watched it after the football. Enjoyed it again thought it was really good. As I said last week I think it's better than the old TG towards the end of the last series. I think they had lost there way. I also grew up watching Chris Evans,but I like him & don't think he's doing that bad a job. Think it's a lot of people jumping on the band wagon saying he's murder. Just as well we all have different opinions.
 
I've enjoyed episodes 2 & 3, however I cant help but think the stars with their 1st & best cars is a bit pointless & time consuming, I'm also missing the news section from the old TG.
 
That TDF Film was great - keep that standard up .

I've enjoyed the last two episodes-.significantly better tonight than anything in the last couple of years from the previous team.
 
Loved AJ and Kevin Hart, those 2 are class. But the whole ''which of your cars is better'' crap is boring and needs to be axed.

Focus RS looks like a weapon. Audi R8 is stunning. Always hated the corkscrew on Forza, could never master it.

Hoonigan Mustang was awesome. As said, it was in my work (Ford), though they never thanked Ford at the end for some reason. That car was ridiculously loud and amazing to see it drifting everywhere. The skidmarks are still on those roads :lol:

Still hate Chris Evans. Quite like Harris, Reid and Le Blanc. I heard Eddie Jordan is back next week. I hate him and his stupid shirts with a passion.
 
I watched it after the football and have to admit it was a much improved prog to get point of enjoyable but Evans spoils it for me !

Yeah really enjoyed these two.

I like that Chris Harris was on the main thing this week too, not just extra gear.
I think the first two episodes of extra gear were better than the normal show! Not so much this week.

The Block was as always, a beast!
 
Much better episode with the Fezza's, R8 and Mustang - well done.

Need to kill 2 items: Evans who's just dragging it all down for the many well discussed reasons in this thread (which won't change) and the waste of time padding with the whole sofa chat that's just pointless and best watched recorded with FF ready

I don't mind the ginger-one either, in the right setting, and there's the problem: he's acting like it's "TFI Gear" :thumbsdown:

I liked MLB from the start, haven't seen E3 yet, so massively looking forward to it now :thumbsup:

First episode was a bit disappointing (I still enjoyed it jut did't live up to the hype) but the second and third episodes were excellent.

I agree with the sofa bit dragging on probably the product of having 2 stars at once but liking the new track format

I think viewing figures are miss leading,as slot of people watch on iplayer or internet,plus as said,euro footy on at sane time now.
Think its all been very enjoyable,loving the various presenters mire than i thought,and new track for star in a car is better than before.
 
I thought the last episode was the best so far - ditch the ginge (and his breakfast) and it's all pretty good!

Matt LeBlanc is a far better presenter, and Chris Harris and Rory Reid were just great!

Please BBC don't bother with Eddie Jordan - he's just an ego in a poncey shirt (bit RH maybe)? :laugh:

Agree with most of this - but I quite like Eddie Jordan :cry:
 
Harris and Reid brought the show to life, also Matt the-bloke should be the anchor - I liked him from the start. Its still a 'catch-up' iPlayer show for me though.

Agree with most of this - but if Rory, Hitler and Bin Laden were in the same room and I only had 2 bullets, I'd shoot Rory twice.
