The problem with "new" Top Gear is, in my opinion, that Jeremy, James and Richard ARE what made the programme. It wasn't just about cars, it was they way the three of them got on, was like watching your mates..

Yep and they're effectively trying to replicate the old format with different presenters - the main problem with that is that the presenters haven't got the 'charm' of C,M & H

And when C, M & H did this format it was already starting to wear thin.

Not for me at all. I've sacked it. Now in the bedroom on my phone instead of listening/watching that.

They had an opertunity to make it great and they screwed it up. What was the reliants to Blackpool all about? And Matt Le Blanc, he is hard work. They all sound very robotic and scripted.

I like Matt, think with a bit of time to get used to him he's going to be good for the show... cant get past the annoying shouty Evans though, the guy has got zero likable qualities

I line Matt me Blanc. Think it wasn't bad for a first episode. They have to keep it fairly similar as it is a world wide money maker and change it as it goes.

Better than I thought it was going to be.

Needed a completely new format to eradicate the memory of Clarkson, May and Hammond. I hoped the show would be a complete refresh in order to avoid comparisons with the old Top Gear.

Needs more information on the vehicles and reviews, rather than watching people cocking about with s**t no body cares about or is interested in.

Make it informative and funny, job done.

Spent 90mins on the new TG viewing time, not impressed. Just back from hols so 2weeks of catch up to do as well as GP Monaco highlights.

If you want something better or more entertaining or more exciting more worthy I'd suggest putting the final 1min of game of thrones last episode on repeat until your 90mins are up ...Or until you run out of tissues... bodily fluids... arm strength or all of the above
