New Top Gear

Yeh, considering applying to become a uk distributor and service partner for them. I think they are too expensive really though £12k for top spec one 😬
 
Just watched the second episode on catchup and really enjoyed it. I must be easy to please!
 
I always record it now so I can skip the bad bits!

But I must say Chris Harris in the McLaren was great - his stuff on the net is much more like this, and it works well for him.

Big Foot was annoying - apart from the electric dirt bikes. They looked really good!

But the city car reversing was p*ss-poor IMO.

But I'll stick with it - after all there is some car content!
 
Just finally watched the first episode and I really enjoyed it...probably more than GT (and I never thought I would say that).

Yes, last night was a big improvement. Rory even got to drive the best cars in the programme! :lol:
 
Last night was decent, bar a few awkward bits of acting! Tying the cars together for drifting was a stupid idea though :thumbsdown:

The irony ... I read the Grand Tour has been dropped by Amazon today!

I hope the article that you read is more the truth. That said, surely someone else would buy them out; albeit maybe with a smaller budget.
 
Episode three was good, made even better by there being no Star in a car. The producers must be forum members.

Totally agree,really enjoyed it this week,from Start to finish.
Pity they never actually kept the cars in one piece,and then sold them on though.
Great episode all the same :thumbsup:
 
This week’s was deffo the best in a long time.

I barely went on my phone and that’s saying something
 
I liked the jap section (apart from the drifting bit). Clever use of animations and a bit of narrative to bring what would normally be “enthusiast chat” to a wider audience. Makes me think Harris is fairly involved in the script writing.
 
Have to say much prefer top gear to the grand tour. Never thought I would say that, but the grand tour was crap from start to finish, except the last one where they did a special.
