Hi all Ime new to the forum :D got my self a new toy during the first lock down. 2 lt straight six Loving the car. And the driving smoothness I’ll be having a few question on what best upgrades to do. Like bushes / bulbs etc. And what I should be looking to do. So any help will be appreciated. Things done Wheel refurb to a bit darker. And a paint correction. Also cleared a drain holes for hood pump :D Callipers painted and new grills. First question I have ? I know rear wheel drive car are a bit different to front. But while driving on motorways it seem to sway a bit on front. What can I do to make it feel more solid / stable 255FBCF0-379F-436C-8E09-BDE3E31A8116.jpeg5EF20221-63A8-4CD6-AB1F-B2D8E043025A.jpeg

Welcome on board. Lovely looking Z4 on those wheels. 8)

Has it still got run flats fitted. If so then it will tramline. Get them changed and enjoy being able to drive in a straight line again.

Nice motor. Welcome to the forum. Can't see it being a straight six if it's only 2.0L Must be 2.2L or 2.5L :?

Just checked. Non run flats. All round  Any other suggestions on the swaying
There is an adjustment that can be done underneath the steering column. Mine does exactly the same and I don't have run flats. It's not so much Tramlining it's wandering. I was going to the Zed Shed to have it adjusted but since this latest lockdown I've put it off. There is a section somewhere on the forum which covers this problem which is also referred to as Sticky Steering. There are a few guys on here who have done it themselves but you need to be a bit of a contortionist. Mike at the Zed Shed charges £30 and it takes him about half an hour. others will do it too and there's a few guys on here will do it for you for a few quid.

. Yes sorry it’s the 2.2 se :D

Hi and welcome - that's a good looking Z4.

If you've already got non run-flats fitted other than the steering issue already mentioned it might be worth checking your suspension bushes.

Hi and welcome. Lovely looking zed there. Here's a nice thread on the previously mentioned sticky steering.
