Hi everyone....

Just thought I'd say hello. I'm currently the proud owner of a Z4 sDrive 3.0i in Deep Sea Blue. I like this site because it's so Z4 specific and I've gained lots of info from reading your posts :)

My Spec....

Black leather, style 294 alloys, elec fold mirrors, windscreen grey shade band, wind deflector, Sports seats, extended storage, seat heating, PDC front & rear, cruise, Prof nav, voice control, Business Hi Fi, bluetooth.

It's my 6th BMW and possibly the most fun!!! However, bring on the sunshine so I can get the top down.........

Micky Dee, welcome to the forum...
Better post up some pictures before someone does this to you.... :P
:worthless:

Did you own any other BMW with sport suspension before? How is the new Z4 with standard suspension? I had a 523i Sport, and I think Z4 Sport's suspension is even firmer than 523i.

I've had a 525d MSport and a 335iSE, both had sport suspension. I find the Z4 generally comfortable for everyday use and slightly better on pot holes than the 3 Series (however that had 19's). You can always select Sport or Sport+ if you want things to firm up a bit for the twisties.

I used to live in Bedford....a place called Brickhill

Should Driving Dynamic Control adjust the dampers on car with Adaptive M Sport suspension fitted? DDC only adjust throttle and steering on car with normal suspension.

Yeah it's the steering that firms up that makes it seem more positive. If you want a firmer ride go for the Adaptive M Sport option

HI you have the same car as I - faby aren't they :-)

Hi...except you've got different alloys.

Strange to see a Bond! Was it a Herald or Vitesse based version? My first car was a Ford Anglia, but I've had a couple of Heralds (both 13/60) and they were good fun! What memories lol!

Hi yes the Bond was a Herald Chassis and spitfire MK2 1147cc engine. Rebuilt the car in the picture when I was 14 years old, passed my test in it then sold it on for my next car!

Hi thought I had posted a reply but cant see it so will try again.

Yep the Bond was my first car rebuilt it when I was 14 from chassis up - great fun taught me a lot. The Bond was the Equippe GT4S model based upon the Herald chassis with MK 2 Spitfire running gear and engine.
