Hello everyone, been having my Zet (e89 30i MY2009) since 2013, actively contributing to several e89 forums worldwide, but found this one only today (by a chance, googling something unrelated).
So, let me introduce myself briefly: Got my Zet second hand from Reich in 2013 (ODO 35kkm) and drove it (with joy) ever since (first as my joy.car only, but recently becaming my daily), early in 2026 overcoming a milestone of 100kkm, no serious issues yet, still and for ever thrilled by N/A N52 engine, its smoothness, response nad natural behaviour (the more I want from it the more I am getting = whenever I can I push it to the redline).
Over the years I did a lot of upgrades, brief summary: HR SportSprings +sways, OZ Ultraleggera18" (winter) +19" (summer), 5.00 diff by Drexler, CDV off, Quaife LSD, M235i SportBrake (front), as it comes to (summer) tires actaully riding Conti CSC7 - not bad, but incomparable to Mich Cup2 (which unfotunatelly ended 2025).
Upon my drive style my average consumption varies between 12 and 16+ ltrs per 100km, but I do NOT care... the joy is always overiding.
To protect such a lovely engine as much as possible it runs on MillersOils CFS NT+ 5w40 exclusively (because of my driving enthusiasmus oil temps often reaching as much as 130-140 deg C) with yearly refill.
