Hey guys, I've been looking for a sports car for a while, a small 2 seater.

I've been doing quite some research on the pros and cons of various models and quality of components.

Other cars I had in mind (Crossfire, MX5?, Audi A4, Nissan Z3, Others).

Thus far my choice out of all the other cars is the Z4...It's fairly expensive but I just can't find a single fault with it other than maintenance fees which German cars have anyway.

Hi and welcome.

My last car was a Crossfire coupe, I'd always wanted one from when they first came out.
They are basically a Merc SLK with a different body. Nice car but just didn't do it for me so had to come back to a Z4

Try one just for peace of mind.

I'm out with a load of Z3's this coming Saturday, some nice ones by the sound of it.

Hi and welcome to the mad house. :?

There's plenty of info on here. After 3 years of faultless ownership. I'll confirm your cunclusion, that most Z4's are solid dependable and fun sports cars. But you do need to keep up with proper servicing.

Good look finding a cracker.

Yeah I've really wanted to try one.

My friend whose a mechanic I trust told me to avoid that car at all costs as they're a nightmare to work on.

He recommended Z4 or Nissan Z3. :D
