Hi everyone,

just thought id introduce myself as been reading the forum a lot over the past few months and about time i started contributing. New to this Z4 forum, not new to Beemers, owned a few Z3's before upping to the Z4MC. Just love the car, its a work in progress, and adding little bits all the time.
Mine is a 2007 (build year) Euro Spec Z4///M Coupe and imported it from a guy in the next emirate. The car has been meticulously looked after as only an enthusiast would. always garaged, and the service history is completely in tact. Mine does have a few miles on it though, and to be honest, thats the only real reason I was able to get into an ///M at this price point. We all have our limits. :tumbleweed:

At any rate, my wife loves it much, much more than our old Z3 Coupe, and its much much more modern and comfy. My boy is stoked with it. (as picture will show) A few issues here and there ive sorted so far, but its a strong and solid car. This far, i am very impressed.

Next mod will probably be suspension, shocks and bushes.

anyways on with the pics.. (i know, i know, or it didnt happen!

Since those pics were shot, only a few months ago, ive had a couple of small dents taken out of the car and had all 4 wheels refurbished. Had full fluids changed and taken care of an over due inspection. all belts/filters replaced, and had a valve adjustment. (funnily enough it was all within spec and needed no shims at all :) had all oils replaced and fitted the short shift kit with new shift knob and boot. (my fave mod so far)

at any rate, it will be nice to chat to some like minded enthusiast.

well met. :fuelfire:

Welcome to the forum Vanne

I noticed the stubby in the most recent pic,a great looking Zed you have. Are the Z4's popular down in Oz.

Welcome, and congrats on your purchase.

I really do LOVE the phot of both Z coupes in the garage. Are you keeping both?

Thanks very much for the warm welcome guys.
Just to answer a few questions, yep living in Dubai atm. (Kinda warm there right now, but we get away a lot)
Yeah I realised the pedal and wheel are in the wrong side. The amount of time when Ive opened the pax side door to jump in and drive off is embarising. ; )

Yeah my first mod was the stubby. My second the eBay clutch stop. Forgotten where I am with it now. My fave mod so far is the short shift kit from bmw. Changes the feel of the ride so much!
My next mod?
Probably h&r suspension/eilbac shocks.

Am I keeping the z3? The answer to that was predetermined by the need to fund the z4, and we only have a 2 car garage. The otherside normally occupied by a Jeep JKU (12).

I did a lot of work on the z3, and learned a lot along the way. Still I am happy what sits in place of it now. : )

So yeah thanks for the warm welcome.
Think ill stick around for a while : )
