New to the forum - Z4 just purchased - now with pics

So - options people, give me links to kits that are good and not cheap rubbish that'll take ages to turn on or burn the car to bits lol.

The rear tyres are really really bad. So they are being changed asap. So man logic dictates that if you have to change the rears, might as well ditch the run flats. So might as well change all 4. So might as well find a decent set of rims and get a good deal on a tyre package. That works right?

Mark at BMautosport has always supplied my alloys to previous cars, so quick phone call and a good deal on a nice looking set of CSL reps with good rubber ordered up - pics in a few days!

The one I have is www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370584747268 (from my ebay history), though I'd probably go for 5000k not 6000k with hindsight.
 
Great looking Z , , the lights have washers in the bumper which i always thought were for the Xenon lights :? obviously not :(
 
New wheels and tyres fitted.... no more runflats.

I should probably stop posting in the newbies forum now and make an actual thread... ?


More pics to follow once I give it a good scrub up and get a few other wee mods sorted out.

UPDATE :)

So I've worn in the new tyres, and they are amazing, so much more grip than the runflats it came with and it drives lovely now.

Also had the tracking done.

And fitted Xenon headlights (HIDs Direct)

And purchased a Denison ipod adapter via this forum.

And purchased a gaptech RCH+ module via the group buy on this forum.

And ordered carbon bmw badges for the wheels.

And ordered a short stubby ariel - the mangowalk one I believe it's called?


Loving zed ownership - complete contrast to my X6 lol.
 
Having bought the Z4 and a stack of random little mods for it - the X6 needed some lovin'


Full polish up and attacked with a rotary for the first time - good results though.
