So having been on here a couple of weeks whilst I got my car upto scratch thought I would say hello and get some pictures of the car up.

It’s a 3.0si 2006 with 66,000 miles on the clock. It’s been lowred with fully adjustable shocks by the previous owner and a few other bits but I’ve finally got it upto the spec and finish I wanted.

Brought from down south upto Llanfairpwll, Anglesey Wales.

Bought off eBay for £5101 and has needed some tlc but the body, engine, wheels etc all spotless so mainly cleaning and some missing trim and bits and bobs.

Spent about £350 on bits but happy with the results

Some bits I’ve done in no order:

CDV delete
ZHD gear knob
Fog lamp blanking plates
New Ariel
Bluetooth and aux fitted
Parcel shelf and brackets fitted
Wheel badges and stickers
Door window switch replaced
Callipers yellow
Exhaust backbox delete
Roof motor boot relocation
Glove box hinge repair
Induction kit removed and std airbox and sound gen install
Engine plastic cover bolts replaced x2
Door card seals repaired
Audio chirp on lock/unlock coded
Roof open/close on remote
Floor matts installed

Think you've done pretty well there. Still £500 "up" on the market, or thereabouts. :)

I'd give the seats, doorcards and wheel a decent clean/condition with something like this to get the factory matt finish (and smell!) back.

Looks like the previous owner installed air intakes in the bumper too. What are they for, brake cooling?

The be fair the leather isn’t as shinney as the photos make out. I’ve treated the leather with auto glam cleaner and then conditioner, a magic sponge always helps with getting that matt finish and the plastics all cleaned too 8)

Yes it had brake cooling ducts which I’ve removed the piping for but left the 2 holes as it meant otherwise replacing the bottom panel.

Hi and welcome - you've been busy already
If you're looking to spend money on your Zed this is the place :D

Possibly add some spacers on the front and back to bring those wheels out to fill the wheel arch nicely.

Replace the exhaust tips.

Change the covers on the number plates from black to yellow and white.

Hello and welcome. Nice looking Zed you've got. I see your on Anglesey. You'd be more than welcome to come along on the North Wales Run next April if you fancy a great day out on great roads in great company :driving: Take a look in the Meets/Events/Roadtrips section. Regards, Si.

Black looks great when its clean!

I made a video from my 1st BMW club drive on Sunday there if anyone wants to check it out?
