Hi everyone!!

Ive just paid for and ordered my Z4!! really looking forward to it. Sorry no pics yet as it arrives on Friday. Awesome xmas present for myself :D

I do have the Video from the dealer https:/video.citnow.com/vsRBJ49hkSU

Ive been reading on here that I should have the clutch delay valve removed and move the hard top motor to the boot. Question is do I need to remove the CDV as its an automatic transmission? and the motor still has to be moved on the 2014 model? this surely must have been addressed by BMW though out the years.

Thank you

Welcome to the forum. The issues you refer to are pre E89 model range. Your car is an E89, so no worries on those points.

Try and get some sleep between now and Friday. Oh and get those camera batteries charged.

Welcome to the forum OP.

I hope the week passes quickly, then you can get out and drive your Z4 - but don't forget the photos!

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody!!

I was originally going to wait until feb to buy a Z but saw this one and knew I had to have it!! it was fully loaded and a 2014 plate for less than 20k.

Il get the photos uploaded as soon as it arrives.

Welcome. Lovely looking car. I've been wondering about the silver indicator repeaters on white. Look smart, may have to treat myself to some.

Nice looking car, Mineral white is less common than Alpine white, both look good with red leather.
No need to worry about the CDV on an automatic.
Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers, Dave

p.s. The roof motor on the E89 doesn't have the same problems as they did on the E85. No need for it to be moved.

Sorry for the delay with the pictures. Ive been busy at work and enjoying the drive. The weather is terrible atm so took the picture in my carpark.

The first mod. Changed the interior lights to led. There's 2 more lights to change behind the seats on the corner of the speakers. But dont know how to get at them. Lights changed are the top cluster map light/dome light, foot well lights, puddle lights, glove box light and boot light.

Next will be privacy glass. Parking outside work in south london people keep looking inside. Will probably get light smoke on the 4 windows and medium at the back dont want it too dark and keep it classy.

Not sure what to do next.. maybe change the chome to gloss black but would have to do wheels to match.

Dont want to change the look too much as its already a beautiful car.

How's a happy camper now then

Great combo and If I was to swap my e85 then this is the spec car I would go for but more than likely a manual :driving:

Have fun with it.

Welcome and nice Zed! Like you said, looks pretty good with the standard set up. So no point going over the top. If it's a daily and space permits, I'd consider some winter wheels as a future "mod"

Definitely that's something that I'd consider for next winter. It was pretty frosty on the roads this morning.

I would just have to beg for some storage space in a mates garage
