New to the forum and possible Z4 ownership

The same as above I'am a newbie coming from the Porsche forum I drive a 996 it's getting on a bit now, as it's a 1998 with105,000 miles so time to move on I been looking at a 2007 z4 M roaster 35thousand miles full history with inspection 2 just completed your thoughts please , re what to look for etc

Well that's it deal done ,pick up my 2007 z4m A week on sunday after a week in Spain looking forward to the holiday but if the truth be known can't wait to get back and get behind the wheel and master the bavarian beast :driving:

i ploughed the same furrow earlier this year after 2 911's & happy to say am now fully cured of my porscheness .
what did you take for the 996 ?
 
Well after a lot of hard work I got £8000 in p/x which dosent sound a lot but some dealers only offers £5000
So I am looking forward to drive a car with out worrying about every little noise is that a tapett knocking ? Will the engine go bang ,I only had a short test drive but it felt more like a true mussel car and as I live in the states for 6 years I kind of like that feel ,plus the z4 goes right and left unlike the American cars
 
Picked the car up yesterday ,a lot different from my 911 ,trying to get use it will take a few miles pushing harder each time luckily a live on the a50 so a great road to test the car enjoyed yesterday roof down and I can see the sun peaking out so less chat and more driving good bye for now :driving:
 
Congrats on your new car, hope you have some great fun driving it, at least the weather is being kind at the moment!

hi and welcome i would love a porsche but not reliable enough to many problems .z4m bomb proof strong engines enjoy you will.faster and better roaad holding :thumbsup:
