I am new here and have really enjoyed reading a lot on the forum.
I can not unfortunately put up any pictures at the minute as the
car is in a garage for the Winter and I will not be putting it on the road
until early April.
The car is very nice Z4 Sport 2.5 Automatic , Black with red sports seats and
M sports Suspension .
I bought it in October 2014 from a garage in Sussex but in 2015 only
did under a 1000 miles as the weather was so bad and I did not get a
chance to drive it with the roof down .
It is in very good condition inside and out , carpets perfect so I am very
pleased with it , I call her my Black Beauty.
A friend took a look at it and told me to change the bushes, is this an
expensive job ?
The tails on the exhaust are not the chrome shiny type so I plan to change these
too , maybe I could find what is needed in the for sale section in the Forum.
You are all very knowledgeable and so helpful, like good friends, keep up
the good work, thank you all.
Are there any members from Northern Ireland like me ?
Best wishes to you all for 2016

Welcome to the forum. I use mine all year and found it to be a great car for all seasons.
Machine monkey is your best bet for quality exhaust tips. He is a real craftman, link below for you

Hi, the hardtops are a two man (or lady) lift or you can get a ceiling mounted winch for the garage & manage it on your own :D
Prices seem to vary from £600ish for a summer bargain to over a grand for a winter price! I'm not that bothered as i still like the roof down on dry crisp winter days :driving:
Regards

Yes, I paid the 'winter price' for a genuine BMW one on fleabay. Luckily, it was black. It's not particularly heavy but just needs one person on each side to lift it on or off. It locks in place and only takes a few seconds. Opinion on here is divided over the need for one in winter. I reckon that if the car sleeps outside and you have the storage space for when you take it off, it is worth the money. It also helps aleviate a common problem with the soft top motor getting flooded with rain water.

Crisp winter days... Not seen those for a while! :|

Welcome to the Forum
Post up some photos Sunlady - what year is your Zed?
There are a few bushes on your Zed - you could have it checked over at a specialist independent when you get it back on the road in April.
Ask on the forum for a recommendation of who to take it to for servicing and the like.

Welcome NI member, from an NZ member. Love your car colour
This forum is a great place to come for expert advice and encouragement, and will hopefully help you avoid any traps or pitfalls during your Z4 ownership.
Cheers.

Hi, my Z4 is a 2007 2,5i sport , very similar to the picture above black with red leather, my black beauty !!!!
