So this weekend saw me trotting off to Sheffield to look at a Z4 e85 3.0si. I spotted it online early last week and it met all the criteria i wanted so i put down a holding deposit. Took it out for a test drive and as much as you try to look at test drives objectively i new within 5 mins it was the car for me, got back to the showroom, did the deal. Its a Sapphire black metalic 57 reg Roadster, 54,000, FSH, Individual leather New England black with Silverstone Grey heated electric seats, Bi Xenon lights, stubby, black grill.
The 120 mile trip back was about getting familiar with the difference between my old 2.0s and the new 3.0si. Holy smoke what a difference! The 2 cars both looked almost identical sat next to other but get behind the wheel and its a completely different animal.

Storm Ciara put the brakes on any sunday hooning but there will be plenty of opportunities over the coming months.

Few pics below because i know its a must.

Lovely thing. Low mileage E85 3.0Si with the black top engine don’t come up for sale very often. How much did you pay for it if you don’t mind us asking?

Getting on for 9k but it was through a dealer who gave me a half decent price on mine. I was planning on getting a 3.0si this year sometime and when good ones come up you have to move quickly or someone else will have it.

That is a good looking Zed
Thanks Lynchy, i know you had one for sale and i would have liked to bought from a forum member but i would have had to shift mine first, when this one came up it solved that problem

Well done, that looks a beautiful thing, the seats really set it off, also loving the wheels

Looks like you have found a good example OP, and I love that interior.

The 3.0Si must be feeling pretty exciting too!

Big congrats on your new purchase. Looks great and the interior is a nice change from a sea of black.

Couple more of the interior

I'm liking those seats.

Almost went for a 2008 plate 2.5si about 8 years ago. It had blue and black seats.

At least you now have an excuse to buy a whole load of cleaning lotions and potions. Some of us have to buy them by stealth these days!
