New (To me) 30i pics.

Looks lovely. Have to say I like the red.
Hope you have many years of beautiful and fun motoring.

The frozen colours are good - but the finish will get the  in years to come- i don’t think it will stand the test of time somehow.

I had the same view of Matte Paint prior to buying my First Edition. I think it’s a pretty widely held misconception that it’s a nightmare to look after and quickly suffers from degradation. Frozen Orange was the only colour I wanted. Mines over two years old now and done 12500 miles and looks as good today (if not better) as it did the day I got it. I’ve mentioned it on other discussions that it’s the easiest car I’ve ever had to look after, as long as you use the right products. I have no concerns whatsoever that it’ll continue to look as good in the long term as it does now.

Narrowed it down to Blue or Red
It’s that final kick I need to put mine on the market.
For me it has to be red. Look at the pictures at the start of this thread. If you go blue, then I personally would avoid black wheels. Polished or diamond cut wheels on this colour for me. You could also consider a wrap to have a really individual colour that you really like. I am guessing, but I feel that it could be done for less than £5000.

I agree - silver wheels are a must for me.

That’s the thing Ron, on the M40i’s they’re not silver like the ones on this post, they’re more a greyish finish, which is nice but I personally think the red goes better with silver wheels.

The other consideration for us was we wanted the black grills etc so that came with the pack with black wheels.

As discussed before it’s all down to personal choice and when Rosemary tells you what yours is you can place that order

That’s one of the reasons why I wanted a First Edition. Didn’t want black wheels but wanted black trim. Think the combo suits the Frozen Orange really well.

It does really suit the car. Kathleen was dead set against black wheels but like you wanted the black trim elsewhere. She decided on the shadowline pack and accepted the wheels came as part of that. I’m not a huge fan of black wheels myself but think they go well with the blue

Having seen the Misano blue in the flesh, I discounted it unless the deal was exceptional.

I like the blue - its better than white or black IMHO

It was actually a blue car that I spotted that started me on this journey. Just as well we all like different colours or the world would be a boring place.

Yep, I like VO in the e89 and white is the second best colour IMHO - other call it poverty spec white

White was actually my second choice tbh.

Test drove a 20i in white, lovely car.

Not certain white looks good on the G29, black is the same but red / blue look great IMHO - I think suites the e89 where as silver or grey suits the e85 :)
