Thought it about time I joined a forum like this.
let me introduce myself I am 64 and been the proud owner of a Z3 2.8 in 1997 followed by a Z3M in 2001, then with the launch of the Z4 in March 2003 bought a 3.0L and after much time asking BMW if they where launching a Z4M finally got my order in for a brand new highly spec 3.2L M modal on launch day 2006. From that day to this love the car to bits. 10 year old next week owned and driven only by me since that day. Really love the car and look forward to many more years driving it. :D

Had to ring BMW direct to find out if they were releasing the M model, this after looking at a Merc SLK the day before. BMW told me that they were just in the process of releasing the details to their dealerships that very morning. I went straight to my local dealer and told them to look on their intranet and low and behold there was the info. Ordered the car with my own spec there and then even before telling the wife. I am so glad I made that phone call.
