Hi all,

Since Coronavirus, I’m doing hardly any miles, so took the decision in July to replace my daily driver with an E86 which has been on my bucket list since it first rolled out of the factory. Good job I didn’t find the forum first otherwise I might have spent a few more months or years looking for a perfect Sport with all the right gear. Instead I bought the lowest mileage, most original SE I could find, in Monaco blue, right down to the 203s and whippy aerial.

At around the same time my son bought himself a rather less tidy Maldives blue E85 and this forum has been incredibly helpful with fixing the roof, getting the bumper off, polishing up the headlights etc. It’s still a work in progress, but thank you guys and girls.

Next challenge is posting some photos! :?

Looks tidy, keep us posted on your whippy vs stubby decision  Is your son on the forum? would be good to see some pics of his progress.

Hi and welcome, looks very nice, I do love the look of the coupe, well done with posting photos as well

Hi and welcome to the forum from a fellow Coupe fan.

I only went for Sport models with my previous Coupes because of the M-Sport seats - I wasn't so fussed about the other Sport features. But yours looks like a great Coupe and sometimes that's more important!

Zed no.2 finally patched up and out of the garage. Bonnet nice and shiny, now I just have to find a willing volunteer to do the rest. :tumbleweed:

I just wanted a Coupe because they look great and are barely depreciating, if at all. TBH a SE probably suits me better as the roads around here require a more forgiving suspension. It does have a Sport button though; would this have been standard or an option?

Liking the forum so far, a lot of info on here. However, I’m finding it difficult to use. I posted my z4 for sale but cannot find my post anywhere!

Tried to message the admins, added one as a friend but still can’t send messages and I’m too new.

Anyone got any advice?

Cheers

I see 2 posts against your username, but only 1 post I can view (your reply above) - so possibly your ad was removed for not following rules/missing price etc.

I'm sure a mod will be along to help at some point - it is a Sunday and a miserable one at that
