My Z4 is my first Bmw before this I had a list of hot hatchbacks including civic type-R, Ford Focus St, Vw golf gti and a ton of boring rusting old bangers

Me too on the S2000. Had to test drive one after buying the zed, so I knew I'd made the right choice (I didn't drive both before buying the zed).

The zed was definitely the right choice

thumbs down for the Mx5 am genuinely shocked. I did have a test drive of one, interior was poor quality but always thought they would be fun to drive. Goes without saying the Z4 won me over :driving:

I agree. I drove 6 Z4 roadsters and 1 S2000 before buying my Z4. I felt it was too cramped, the interior seemed cheap in comparison, the less-than fully automatic roof was a minus, and the little trunk space was a deal breaker.

BTW Adamski, who is that in your avatar? That pic creeps me out every time I see it. 70s porn star?

Avatar is Keith Lemon from Celebrity Juice :(

A well known comedy genius.

Perhaps a re-fresh needed in 2012 :o

(need a smiley on it's back next to the chair it just fell off, holding it's stomach in paroxyms of laughter to do that comment justice really  )

I wouldn't know what a 70s porn star looks like... I wasn't born yet!

Sorry, I'm not familiar with him or the show. But, I just searched for and watched a few of his clips on youtube. Good stuff!

Excellent - I am both surprised and delighted that the humour survives the trip across the pond

Steadily progressing in the right direction....

1995 Rover Metro 1.4 CD (dangerously slow diesel - 65mpg...)

2000 Nissan 200 SX Turbo Touring (RWD, Turbo, LSD and a tendancy to glide sideways in the damp) - kept for 3 years and tuned to 270-80 hp to annoy E46 M3's and WRX's (until it came to a bend!). :driving:

2003 Z4 3.0 SE with 108's, Nav and Carver (ex demo so most options ticked). Brill car, sounded nice, went well but standard non sport seats are terrible. :driving:

2007 Z4MR - Best car I have driven - a keeper until they make a proper successor with the E92 M3's V8.... :driving:
