New to BMW and Z4. Love it!

Hi, bought my 2012 28i about six weeks ago. I still stare at it in the garage like a kid with a new toy. Actually I like to look at it anywhere. Wasn’t a fan of the black wheels but have grown to like them. The photos don’t do them justice, especially when clean and shiny. Being 19” 255/30 on the rear they do give an aggressive look. 58,000 Kilometres and lots of bits when new. Second owner added the stumpy, one touch roof open/close, wind deflector and front and rear cameras. As the third owner I still get three years of the Service package that was bought when new, a 10 year package at the time, plus a car filled with lots of stuff. Very very happy so far.

Like you I don’t like black wheels unless they are on a white car - looks great and bonus re service package

I love it, I wonder why I am so biased though. You'll love it with the roof off.
Mind you I am seriously thinking of going back to silver with the alloys. I still can't decide whether I like the way they came or not. Or whether to leave them until I decide if I want a 19" set or not.

Hi Rob, yeah I thought it too good to be true as well. But gave BMW the car details prior to purchase and they confirmed it. I think the current deals here in Australia are for five years, so they must have really needed to move some cars in 2012.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I'm not usually a fan of black wheels, but I'll make an exception for yours - it looks good with white paint! Most of the others I've seen are black wheels with black paint, and the wheels just fade into the general blackness.

10 year service park is fantastic - as far as I know they only ever did 5 years in the UK, and I think that has recently been reduced to 4 years.
