Hi there
New owner to German, RWD, auto and a convertible.
Come from a decade and a half of hot french metal (Clio 197, Megane 275 trophy and then a Megane 300 Trophy)
Wanted a quick soft top before I ordered the 300 and the itch never really left me but only looked at BMW towards the end of last year and so I discovered the Z4
Purchased mine in November 2022. San fransisco red G29 M40i. Then in January whilst driving home a car pulled out from a side road and ran straight into me. 2 months later finally got it back after it had a new bonnet, bumper, drivers side wing, drivers door, drivers alloy, drivers side suspension and the passenger alloy refurbished. BMW also ended up replacing the roof control module as it failed after the hit (it’s inside the drivers door)
Since then I’ve been enjoying having it back and driving it with the roof down any chance I get.
Plans are to get a custom exhaust on it and remove the OPF from the same place my brother got his 340i done (it’s very quiet compared to both the 275 that had an akra exhaust on it and the 300 that’s very lively from stock flames/bangs)
updated fuel pump like what’s on the 382bhp versions of the b58
Induction kit
Remap
Front splitter, side skirts and rear spoiler and I want to either replace the rear diffuser or have it painted black as the dark grey is the only bit on the car.
