New suspension coming!

BTW, just for informative use only, how do you do a burnout so well?? Use of the handbrake? I have done actual dragstrip "burnouts", and mine are not nearly as impressive as yours. Granted that radial street tires do not need to "warmed up" for drag use, which is why I preferred to keep the rubber intact, but I am curious in case I am molested by a bunch of young perky girls, that want to see a burnout   :P

Nope, you drop the clutch, light up the back end and quickly shift your left foot onto the brake pedal and apply light pressure. You don't want to stand on the brake because the rear brakes will be fighting the rear wheels, just enough top stop you flying off down the street into a crown of young perky girls! You rear brakes will get pretty hot doing this though that's why drag racers use a line lock to isolate the rear brakes from the front.

Suspension is here - fitting it this weekend, then off to be setup on Tuesday....

Well suspension was on my next list of mods, but due to other committments, i've been rather slow on spending money on the Z lately (compared to last year anyway!).

However, I'm shortly placing the order from some KW Clubsport 3-way coilovers. In the meantime, these nice shiny bits of metal arrived today:

K-MAC adjustable Top Mounts, Rear Camber arms, and Poly-Urethane Front wishbone and Rear Trailing Arm bushes...

Hopefully the KWs will be here within 10 days, the car is booked in for a setup and fitting on the 9th July, and then it's off to the 'Ring to try it all out on the 11th! :D

Hi!!

first compliments for your CSL Z4....is simply perfect!!

Second questions I'm just thinking about your same special parts, coilover and camber plastes..where you buy you K-mac? Is possible to buy online?

Do you know if there are problems to fit them with some special coilover kit or the OEM suspension?
At the moment i have to decide about coilover...and I'm really undecided  ...
I'm thinking about H&R like you can read in my other post, but the most important thing at the moment is to find camber plate that fit with the suspension! Thanks for your help! :D

Any reason why you decided not to go for the bilsteins, not sure if they are available on the market yet. Last i checked back in May, they were still in development and would be availabe in summer..

How do the kw's compare to the stock set up?

Can I be really cheeky and ask for a rundown of the cost of each set of parts please (and where you got them would be great)? Interested in doing all this kinda stuff to my car at some point, so it'd be nice to know the costs involved. If you know any of the likely fitting/associated service charges, that'd be great to know too.
