New Sound system for 2003 Z4 2.5i

So I've been thinking in doing a new Sound System setup, but from what I've read the wiring is a pain in the arse....so...in your opinion, can I use the current wiring harness, but replace connectors on either end Speakers, HU and AMP and upgrade to new system??

Let me know your thoughts...

HI I just installed a Denon HU in my 03 Z4 2.5. I was able to keep the AMP since my old radio was non DSP I do have the 10 speakers. I connected the AMP to the pre amp inputs first, but the sound was too low. I then connected to the "normal" speaker wires and sound is good and loud. I used the wire harness and front fascia from scosche (they came free with the radio) and antenna connector. harness connection was easy since the colors match. Radio has 4 outputs.
