Thought I would drop in an say hi!
I have just placed a deposit on a DSB Z4 but I cannot take delivery of it as of yet as I am in Shanghai working right now!
Story behind the purchase is back in July I bought a Pearl White Honda S2000 and just before I took delivery of it someone broke into the forecourt and stole parts off it resulting is £8k worth of parts gone and subsequently end up being a write off.
The new Z4 were always lingering at the back of my mind and for the extra bit of money I felt that I would get a hell of a lot more car but perhaps a less refined drive of the S2000 (I've owned one before) but I never track or rag any of my cars so decided to invest in a Z4 which has a more 'GT' feel to it
The only information which I struggled to find is before I pay off the remaining and take ownership, what are the things should I check for on the car? This has the 19" 296 alloys and I've heard stories of them cracking. Should I check this and how would I be able to tell?
