Anyone driven one?

It's looking like shortly I'll be in the fortunate position to get a SLK as a company car. Anything bar the AMG so naturally my focus is on the largest petrol variant (350). All automatic and in AMG Sport trim, so externally it'll look great, just not driven one yet. The N52 engine in the Zed is glorious, I hope the Mercedes can match it...

I love my Z4 and wouldn't have even contemplated selling it for ages, but the appeal of a new Merc is also quite strong!
 
Get it, just got a 13 plate sl350 sport amg(the poverty spec model), it'll be a different driving experience, our 07 3.0l si z4 felt quicker but the slk will be lighter so can't see there being much difference, just more of a refined drive than hard core z4.
I presume they've refined the latest z4 as well.
Just be prepared to be called a hairdresser!!
 
Billet would live to see your SL. I've had an SL500 and lived it.....only had it a month as Merc bought it back from me as they sold me a dud....
 
I haven't driven the 350 but a 250 , really nice drive. Something you could do serious miles in as they are so comfortable! Interiors are one of the best, IMO.

What a difference being in sport makes though to the box behaviour!!
