I think the series is great TV personally, taking some parts "tongue in cheek" helps

Wheeler Dealers is a great show!
I only get to see old episodes on YouTube where I am, but they are very informative and enjoyable.

The only alternative I've found is "Classic Car Rescue" which I find ... looking for the right word ... annoying.

There's just been a repeat on Discovery where they bought a boxter s for a grand because it had a gearbox 'issue' turned out it just needed a oil change. Guy had it up for 1.5k which still seemed very cheap even with a running car with a dodgy gearbox. If it was genuine and I have no reason to think it wasn't but if I was that guy I'd be gutted!

Always love that they find a 'buyer' but the R33 Skyline GTST they had which supposedly 'sold' is still for sale. They keep trying to punt it but it's overpriced and nobody wants it.
