So the stupid dog chewed a hole in the passenger side seatbelt.....

Can anyone give me a quicke estimate to how much for a new one and fitting please??

Doh. :(

The belt itself is £140 new or £50 on eBay - from a brief look now - it is side specific. Also, a Z4v specific part.

Cost to fit? Not sure. You get at it from the back - so remove the panel in the boot, from behind the rollbars and a strip behind it. From there it is a case of removing a few small panels.

Probably best speak to an indi who will let you source the part.

(I'm more upset that it was a rescue dog who also destroyed my kitchen and I had to take her back to the pound  )

I'm confused, did you leave her in the car alone? Surely you'd have stopped her doing it if she was sitting next to you :?

What type of dog was it out of interest?

I went to the boot to get the sat nav and in the 30 seconds she had chewed a hole in it! Staffy cross, not properly assessed by the rescue and given to me, leaving me with a huge repair bill

Poor little mutt probably got separation anxiety when you got out of the car, it's common with rescued animals. You were a little brave going for a staffy in the first place! I've got a little dachshund Jack russell cross, I'd never leave her in the Zed alone. I left her in the gf's car while I popped into the shop and she pee'd all over the place. :x

I've had Bull breeds before, but yes, whatever her last owners had been doing had left her with terrible seperation anxiety, she'd even cry when I was in the shower and tried to get in the bath with me for cuddles.

Poor little girl, I felt so bad giving her back and then the people at the pound didnt turn up for an hour to meet me, I was really upset that day
