Toodeep, I have uploaded my music from my IPOD to the car's HD. For the details see my earlier post at http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=14445. I think the gaps stay as they were but cannot be certain as I leave the gaps on my IPOD - never tried to change it!
