New Rims, yay or nay.....?

Pulled up next to a 1 series sitting at traffic lights a few days ago and the wheels fitted caught my eye! Thought they were quite different (in a good way!) and would suit the Z4 due to their styling.

Thought I'd see what they'd look like fitted......





Quite tempted, but that old chest nut seems to inevitably always escape my lips so youre probably more likely to see them fitted to someone elses car. That said, I thought they looked quite good and bring the car bang up to date in terms of modern styling.

Great what a set of alloys can do.

Everyones loves a photoshop!

Theres a set on fleabay for £600, quite pricey considering their condition but they are a rare wheel and may suit someone down to the ground!

I'd probably give £400 for them but, due to the description and the terms used to describe, dont expect the seller to bother at that price.

That same seller has been trying to sell a set of 108's with tires. They didn't sell at £1000 and now he's relisted them at £950 or £800 for cash.

I really like these! They are 261s i think.

I considered the wheels but they are quite thin at 7.5 at the front and 8.5 at rear so I was worried they would look lost in the arches and didn't want to go down the spacers route

Suit the car Probably because they echo the 108 5 spoke's clean and simple look that to me is perfect for the roadster
