NEW RIMS + NO RUN FLATS = NEW CAR !!!

Hello

I have finally got my new rims fitted, i considered CSL's for some time but it seemed that a lot of people were going for them and i wanted something that bit different, plus i have loved the BBS LM's ever since my Golf GTI/Audi TT days so i finally decided on these:-

BBS LM Reps staggered fitment Fronts: 235/35/19's Rears: 265/30/19's. The biggest difference is how it drives, without runflats all i can say is 'WHAT A DIFFERENCE !' it drives 110% better, the steering feels lighter, more direct and more communicative through the steering wheel, you can actually feel whats going on rather than the crashing & banging of those shi** runflats. I also weighed them (as i have noted it is a concern to many of you) and the rears weigh less than the 108's (only just - fractionally) and the fronts weigh the same. I was also suprised by how they sit, i was expecting the 'monster truck look' but i am more than happy on the cars stance. I am also happy with the offset on the rear as they dont stick out too far like others i have seen.

Hope you like the images, apologies for the weather & the not so clean car - its done nothing but rain since i got them (even installed them in the rain) better images will follow:-

NIce, but please change the center caps. They look like one of those big red buttons that should never be pressed. :poke:

I'm suprised at how well they sit, usually 19's make even the sports suspension look too high.

LM reps with BBS center caps? Nothing wrong with repilca wheels. But at least wear your reps proudly.

Nice, but again another person here who doesn't like the centre caps - just don't fit with the rest of the car.

Is your Z4 standard height? Looks pretty low there...

Oh - beaten to it. Looked at the rims - thought 'real nice' but wtf are those centres. Even Halfords would be pleased to have a batch of those to sell. Sorry but I say it how I see it.

Tyres - pleased you have the same view of so many who have changed, those who convinced me to do it and now you're a mmeber of that club

I didn't realise they were BBS caps, I thought they were Manchester United ones.

Like the wheels, but as others have said I'd prefer plain(er) caps.

ok. think i get the message with the centre caps, the idea was for them to match the red leather & calipers, nothing like constructive critisism. In the flesh they dont look as 'red', maybe i will look for black. Trying to avoid using the BMW ones as the car has enough BMW badges on as it is..

yeah the red caps draw the eye a bit too much, but it could just be the pictures. maybe a black cap with letters in red so it still ties in ? other than that i love the side on view, bet your creeping along when near any kerbs!

yeah looks good! but as T2FFN has kindly shown black centres look better :P

What was the offset of the 19s? how much do they stick out exactly?

I really like them with the red centres. To me those wheels look far better than the CSL ones and give the car a hint of Nurburgring. Very nice.

Good looks, the centre caps are your choice. Love the "urban" setting and background colour for the shots

We have a 'yes' for the red centres !....only 1 though. I will try the bmw centres from my old alloys to see if they look any better. Cheers for your comments !

Looks very nice. I love how the Z looks nice and low, decent rims make it look even better. This is one reservation I have with the Nissan 370 - it looks underwheeled due to the body shape (similar to the rear of a TVR Tuscan which looks like its on slilts).

Maybe its the pictures but they look really grey, almost primer colour??? Have to echo the majority here about the red centers.
Love the deep rim though :)
