New Rims and Lamps

Hi All

Had to post my new rims on a finally cleaner car with new lamps. Ok I've gone a little unorthodox on the rims and I am running Bridgestone RFTs (how offensive is that!) :D

Rims are Fondmetal- probably not to everyones taste.

You're right, not to everyones taste, but thats why I LIKE THIS. Love the wheel finish. is it smoke chrome?

Unorthodox but I think that all works pretty well Arif. Looking good with the black grilles too :thumbsup:
 
not a fan of the wheels, but good to see something different !...........i think you should lower it to complete the look !

Thanks for the comments. Wheels were listed as a 'nickel-black' finish.

I am sure the purists will torch me :fuelfire:

ignore the purists, as long as you love it !..........the purists are going to have to live with more and more modified z4's as they become cheaper and more obtainable.

liking the black grills by the way!

Read my mind, have beening toying with idea of going for the Eibachs to lower her for a while but I think you're right. Better start saving those pennies again.

Looks good although the rims look a little small to me? :? maybe its just the design or the colour but they look like 17s

:) They are 18x8 front and 18x9 rear :D I guess the fact that look a little small is due to one 'small' factor so many have mentioned..... ok I'll get a drop but need to wait for next months pay cheque.

I quite like the style.... It's very different to the norm.

I presume the new lamps are your clear headlights?

Yes, the new lamps are the ones with the clear indicator lenses. They are OEM non-HID from BMW (£ouch!) but have aftermarket HID H7R lamps fitted. I fitted the headlamps myself with the help of the how to section on the forum on bumper removal (thanks due to Mister_Roger).

So I need to get her lowered and perhaps an aero bumper.......
