The boss of our local tool hire firm has just had one and oh boy is it nice. Vogue SE in silver with piano black interior. 92K though! :o He was demonstrating the remote hatch, motorised tow bar, self closing doors etc. very very nice

I think these look the absolute business when you see them in the metal on the road...but the price is certainly eye watering!

The motoring mags are going all gooey over it , I can imagine for 92k it would be something special & all credit to the company for taking the brand onwards & upwards after buying from BMW . it is a motoring success for sure alongside the mega selling Evoque .
Just shows what can be done with investment , imagination & ambition , , , 3 things the original Rover company lacked in abundance
As for the motorised towbar ? i have one on my 330d & never use it

He did say it is simply miles ahead of his 2year old one he part ex'd. Only trouble is he lost 40K on that one :(

Was at Shuker's today as they were servicing Mr M's Scooby so I had a nose at their cars.
JLR are definitely on the money at the moment.

After owning a Range Rover Evoque for a few weeks now I must admit the interior fit , finish and design is a few steps up from BMW at the moment!

The new RR Sport is also a great looking vehicle....for a price! Strangely though I prefer the "old" RR Sport design still.

I was at the Land Rover dealers last night sorting my plate change and the salesman said he thinks the latest trend of bad winters and wet summers in the UK seems to be causing a change in cars for some people. Mine was the second Z4 E89 they had taken that month in part ex for a Range Rover, there is a Morgan 3 wheeler (new style) they have just taken as part ex for a RR Sport and new in last night was an 11 plate Porsche 911 turbo (for sale for £89,000) that the owner part-ex for a new Range Rover!

911 for that money, he must be madder then a Mexicans dog to spend that much on a range rover

surely the 911 is like an all weather supercar anyway....odd change to make

I went the other way and swapped my RRS for an E89, but have now halted the Evoque purchase until my house sells and may look at a new Sport when they launch later in a little while....

They are very nice examples of high end luxury products but i kind of don't get any of these luxo-trucks.
