Hi. Just bought a Z4 3L in dark grey and red leather. Picked her up last night and after a two drive home I arrived with a very big smile on my face! What a fantastic car! Having just come from a Toyota mr2 roadster the Z4 goes and drives beautifully and loving the sound of the straight six. Here's a few pics taken from ad-

Just done this to mine, ditch the 108s, and get some shiny 107s :D

Great colour you will love the car only got mine in December and still smiling, despite the cost of the mods due to the forum, just can't help myself.

Only in Southend myself so will keep an eye out for you

Looks a lovely example. It seems with the 108's there like marmite you either love them or hate them. I wasn't sure at first seeing them in the pics but in the flesh they do look pretty good, only Thing I would add is that with these thin spoke alloys it's crying out for drilled discs behind them as they would really show through.
We often pop down to Southend love the beach and kids love the adventure play area only trouble is were in the family bus! So if you see a silver Renault scenic flash at you that will be me!

Agree about the discs Paul and 108s are easy to clean, but as you say its that Marmite thing, and mine had to go but absolutely love the 107s over anything else out there that i saw.

Enjoy driving it, I know i do :driving:

My 108's are in a bad need of a refurb and guessing it won't be cheap being split rims when the time comes I may opt for a new set of alloys as long as there OEM and would store the 108's away as would never sell them due to them being the original alloys.

I normally feel 108s look dated but on your car they look fresh and suit it well. 108s and 107s are the best two 18" wheels for the z4 as they were designed specifically for it! If you like them keep them, it's nice to see a set not messed with colour wise!

Great combo car with that interior and the best rear end pre-face lift lights too.

Agree on the 107 suggestion and ditching those 108 corrosion magnets. Or take a look at the VMR710s which would look great in anthracite on your care. Or CSL reps of course - both in 18" size otherwise the ride will feel too hard (IMO).

Also recommend you invest in a lovely, thick MSport Multi function steering wheel too.

Blimey, I'm really spending your money for you aren't I?!

Enjoy the new car

Welcome to the club Paul, looks a nice example and of the correct number of cylinders :D

Welcome.........same roof colour as mine

From what I can see in the pic, no cruise control...........not sure if you know, but you can buy the stalk (£58 a year ago) and fit it in 5 mins, plug and play :)

Having a dremmel or similar is handy as you need to cut a small section from the cowl under the steering wheel. The nice people at BMW even marked where you need to cut.

Good luck with the new car.

I here your a bit of a legend on here! No I'm not going anywhere near your motor! Don't take it personally but I must keep mine OEM if I want to stay married!
