Wheels definitely. Thinking 19" Csl's reps in hyper silver would look good

Train journey down to London then another out Surrey to collect my new Zed. 250 mile journey home but I don't think there is going to be much opportunity to get the roof down today. First job when I get back ... Swap the stubby from my 2.5 :D

I seem to get jealous of everybody else's zed .... That's so nice!!

Looking good! Monaco blue is not it? As for the first minor mods: X3 radio buttons and short M shift knob?

That goes right into the top 10 of the "nicest zeds" chart. It's very very nice. Whoever specced it up originally needs a pat on the back

Had to do a double take as I thought it was this car

In Surrey and very similar only yours seems better specced. Was tempted with the above, if its not too cheeky to ask would you say the above is over priced compared to what you may have paid?
Not a thread hijack, just interested! Lovely car though, awesome colour, enjoy!

Great car really great colour combo  I know exactly what you mean i only really got a 3.0l for the six speed gear box. Sound generator has to be first.

So i've had the car just over three weeks and in that time i've had a couple of minor issues to sort out. After about a week one of the post cat lambda sensors failed. It wasn't too expensive to sort but just a PITA so soon after collecting the car. Secondly i noticed some imperfections in the paintwork on the nearside wing which i hadn't noticed when i went to view the car. Turns out the wing has had a less than perfect smart repair, probably to cover up stone chips. Booked the car into my local BMW bodyshop who have resprayed the whole wing. Not cheap but they've done an excellent job. So despite these niggles threatening to spoil the first few weeks of ownership, i have to say i love it  I promised myself i would leave it standard but the desire to start making some subtle mods is too hard to resist. First up was the obligatory 'stubby' then i changed, the gear knob for a ZHP. This evening i fitted a set of Hyper Silver CSL reps from CM Wheels. They are 19 x 8.5 et 38 front , 19 x 9.5 et 38 rear and wrapped in Falken 453's. I have to admit i'm not sure if i like them now they are fitted. I think it take me a few days to get used to them. I've added a couple of pics below. Comments on them, good or bad, are welcome. Next up an M front bumper and aero skirts but need to save some pennies first. :D

Looking good
Have you noticed the differance in RPM in 6th gear to 5th at a given speed in your other Z that you had previously ?

70 mph is about 2,800 rpm in 6th. From memory in the 2.5 the same speed was about 3,200 rpm in 5th.

CSLs look great your car is the split of mine

Thanks Si. I had a good look at your new Zed when we met own at the Midlands Meet a few weeks ago. From memory i think you had just picked it that morning. How you getting on with the Piano black trim? I find it possible to keep clean for very long. Just seems to attract dust :(
