Im a new Proud owner of a 58 PLate (reg feb 2009) 2.0 Sport.

Loving the car at the mo..

But do have one snagging point...

The headlights seems to be way to low... they point to much to the ground and i cannot see anything more than 12 feet infront of the car..

Please tell me this is not normal..

Heres some Mandatory Pics :)

Thank you.. will be getting the other to have a look at them in the morning.. But serioussly the main beam focuses in on the road at a distance of no more than 8 feet from the end of the car!!

Anyone know why I have a M Steering wheel, M Alloys... as I dont believe its actually an M car ???

Its brand new with now only 280 Miles on the clock

Welcome Carmen, very nice wheels

If you dont already know the headlights are adjustable (except for xenons) there is a small knob next to the headlight switch numbered 0-2 which adjusts the beam height.

No its not an M, dont even think about sticking an M badge on the boot! :poke: :P Yours being the sport model i think these were fitted to make it feel 'sporty' :)

Nice car.

The alloys and steering wheel are M Sport versions, not actual parts from a Z4M. BMW like to use their M division to add a bit of sportyness to thier standard cars. The alloys you have are very different from alloys found on the M. The steering wheel is virtualy identicle though, it won't have the multi coloured stitching though, or the inflated price of the real M version.

Hi Carm welcome to the forum, you are not alone with regard to the headlights (Halogen Only), I had had mine check by dealer who set to mid limit as both were on lowest limit made no difference so I fixed mine by turing the adjuster 2 complete turns to raise the level and by adding Philips 80% Brighter Bulbs, bulbs alone wont help you need to raise the level.

Just remember to lwer again for the MOT when required.

Yeah bmw obviously trust us with the blindfolded driving technique, that’s why our seatbelts get tighter when we accelerate, for the inevitable crash! lmao

Welcome, very nice car!
