Nice move  - I would love to test drive the DCT, sound like you're not missing the stick :driving:

Thank you :) No I'm not. The DCT has sooo many settings wich makes it really fun :) One thing I HAAAAATE though are the push/pull shift with the downshift :(
I might buy the facelift but they are expensive as hell.

Lowering springs. Yes or no?
If so: H&R or Eibach? And why?

I have adaptive suspension. Any problems?

Eibach, just a subtle 10mm drop upfront makes a a good difference.

H&R are way to low IMO and makes the arch overlap the wheel which always looks meh imo.

Thanks for your input :)

Funny that,i actually prefered the up/down shift on the prefacelift..

You can up and downshift with just one hand where you need to have both hands on the wheel at all times with the other. I have the latter style in my C63 and it bugs the tits off me..

+1 I think they are super useful means you can change up and down with one hand. Works exactly the same way you just get the option for both. Win win.

Drove my dads 911 with PDK for 2 weeks and found the left down and right up to be a bit of a pain.

Hopefully I’ll get used to it :)

nice car!! looks so clean!

Really suprised to see you let your z4m go..... you really had a a Gem with that one , and i know you painstakingly searched for such a clean car, i feel you may regret this once the initial happiness subsides, these two cars couldnt be further apart in their feel and purpose.....

So much more to changing springs than just the height , different manufacturers aim for different characteristics & after 2 cars with Eibachs i'm really unimpressed with how they ride :o got H & Rs going on my 35i tomorrow so will give some feedback as to how they change the car from stock Msport set up . In the meantime a review here worth a read (though not Z specific )

I changed to H&R on both my Z4M's and loved it. I'm not 100% convinced that I need to lower the E89 though.. have to give some thought :)

Looking forward seeing your car lowered

Thank you, it is really clean :)

My last two sport cars were both a Z4M and I felt that I wanted to try something "new" and I ended up with this one :)
I wanted something that both me and my girldfriend can cruise in next year, the Z4M wasn't the right car for that and I never tracked it or used it how it was supposed to be used :/

We will see next year if I made the right move :)
I'm still pretty mindblowed about the styling of the E89 and the ESS Stage 1 is fantastic. No lag and perfect effect, around 400HP

I respect your opinion though and you could be right, we'll see :)

Hi mate,

Do you have a part number for these pedals? Just been in to my local BMW dealership who could not find anything like them :(

Thanks!
