Pursuing through the forum, I saw a post about the ProClip mounts.

I bought the Z4 and Garmin mount.

Here are the pictures:

Works well and no drilling or tape

For those who would like to hotwire the garmin into the Z4, take a look: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=995

That was what I did.

I bought a Ciglighter plug receptacle with alligator clips at Radio Shack. I then cut off the alligator clips.

I put a blade connector on the positive end and on an unused (no fuse) fuse (I used fuse number 44, I think) connected the positive to that one. It was switched so I only have power when the key is on. Just what I wanted.
Then put the negative side to a good ground. Then everything is tied together and stays in the glove box.

There is enough room behind the glove box but until I get a second Garmin power cable, I want to be able to remove it quickly.

Sorry, forgot to take pics...

I noticed on the site that you can place the clip in multiple places as seen in this pic.

Is that true for the z4 clip mount? or is it very limited to the amount of places you can attach the mount? Wanted to get one for my phone and gps.
