Z4 coupe 3.0Si Sport (Manual / Alpine white / Black interior / brushed aluminium trim / 98k miles)
NOTE: the registered number plate appears as an SE, but it’s defo a Si Sport. Includes service book stamp from original BMW dealer to say it’s Si Sport, and obviously has all the M trim and sports seats, and stiff suspension,
So I’m a bit more serious about selling this now after a have hearted attempt last year
Will be uploading some new pictures within next two weeks. Will be advertising on Pistonheads in October if no buyers on here.
Overview
Car is in perfect mechanical condition
Cosmetically its great condition.
Interior is in excellent condition (no marks on seat bolsters)
Flawless service history, stamped, and all receipts for last 6 years. (One self-service by previous owner with proof of work - forum member)
108 Alloys I have minor scuff marks… will upload close up pictures on weekend.
Everything works as should, including the drinks holders.
Reason for sale
So finally in a position to upgrade to the Z4M coupe, or something else. If I could run two cars, this would not be up for sale ever.
Details:
98,000 miles (97,600 ish I think at mo and I’ll putting a few more miles on)
Full service history (1 self-service with receipts to prove work by previous owner - he owned the car for 5-6 years and was a professional engineer)
6 months MOT (17 Feb 2022)
First registered December 2008 (so basically one of last to be made)
Body in near to perfect condition (just very minor stone chips on the bonnet)
Goodyear Eagle F1s asymmetric 3s all round (plenty of tread on them - rears fitted at 93k
17th Feb 2021, fronts fitted April 2019 (mileage would have been around 82k)
Pagid front discs and pads (7k miles on them)
Auto wipers / headlights / hill start / rear parking sensors / heated seats / original sat nav / comes with original Bluetooth sticker / card
All black leather / brushed silver trim
Genuine BMW Carbon Fibre Rear Spoiler
BMW ZHP Gear knob
Roof wrapped in gloss black
Drives perfect
New wipers.
Second gen - N52 engine (known as N52K)
The difference between 1st gen n52 and 2nd gen n52. N52K has black cam cover with improved reliability - and numerous changes - I spent a good week or so trying hunt down all the info about why there’s two different engine cam covers prior to buying the coupe. I decided that I’d go for the updated and engine cam cover as there was quite a long list of tweaks BMW made from the silver cam covered engine.
I will also include 10mm rear wheel spacers, from previous owner.
Pictures are without spacers - I had them removed as I prefer running car how BMW designed it - even thought the spacers create the perfect stance at the rear.
I spent the best part of 3 months looking and waiting for the right car to come up for sale, the 3 cars I did see prior to this werent to this level of condition.
Ad is described in absolute detail. I’m very picky... so I’ve listed every minor blemish that a proper car guy/girl will eventually pickup on.
Cosmetic blemishes
(Prior to my purchase)
- Very minor stone chips on bonnet barely visible unless pointed out.
- Very minor blemish on carbon lip spoiler (2 pence coin size - varnish peel
- Passenger side door mirror plastic mount (backing) has a minor crack. You’d never spot it unless I mentioned it.
(During my ownership)
Very minor trim wear ONLY on steering wheel controls on the left side. Happened only because I used a dash wipe to clean surface. (Again most people won’t notice)
Some minor scuffing on left front alloy.
Service history

75226 Miles/Jun 2018: Brake Fluid: Darren Wood (BMW Specialist)
79000 Miles/Nov 2018: Oil Service: GB Autos (my local garage that I always take all my cars to - they aren’t a bmw specialist but I trust them with a basic oil and air filter change)
BMTEC - various receipts during my ownership for general age related fixes
86000 miles/interim oil change. Inspection 1 service due in 7k miles
95000 miles - inspection 1 (but marked as interim - BMTEC said they air filter was in great condition and didn’t feel it was necessary to change). I bought an extra filter anyway, so will fit prior to selling,
Next service will be in about 10k ish miles (will recheck and update ad.)
All receipts for servicing/repairs have been kept by previous owner and my ownership.
I have ran her on primarily on 98 octane V POWER or Sainsbury’s 98 octane premium fuel. I’ve never put Tescos or Asda fuel in.
Replacements under my ownership (outside of regular service)
Front discs and pads (Pagid OEM)
Front wishbone bushes (genuine BMW, nearside and offside)
O2 Sensor (Bank 2, After CAT)
Exhaust Flange bolts
Fuse for the headlight washers removed (by previous owner) Easy fix - but from what I’ve heard most z4 owners do this to avoid draining the washer fluid too quickly, so I just kept them as is.
All work carried out by BMW specialists (BMTEC or Darren Wood) or trusted local garage for simple stuff like oil changes
Provenance:
Previous owner kept her for 5 years (another fellow forum member, previous owners dad was one of the directors of the official BMW car club of GB for the North East)
I’ve owned for just over 3 years. Test drives only with proof of funds and insurance.
Asking price.
I’m asking for 11k based on current market. (only 1 of 18 manual alpine white cars in uk, condition of car, and one of the last off the line).
Anything else just shout.
