Link diesnt work on my phone, but glad it started a debate. The tyres look sexy anyway, as Vreds always do, cant wait to get them fitted!

Thank you for that example. Turn to page three "coefficient of friction". It says (although in a rather long winded and high brow way) rubber tyres do have more friction the wider they are. I thank you :D
 
A wider cheap tyre isn't better than a narrower good tyre. The difference between the 225 and 235/245/255 isn't worth worrying about on a Z4. Zonda yes, Z4, no.

I already said I stand corrected over that.
But I never said a rubbish wider tyre would be better than a good thin tyre.I just said a wider tyre will have more grip than a thinner tyre. And some people said it doesn't. And somebody who was trying to prove that put up some link which in fact said a wider tyre does have more friction than a thinner tyre
thus proving my point. I thank you :D
