As a new owner, I heard it was compulsory to post some pictures.

I think I'm going to hold off getting some real pictures until I've had the 108's refurbed, and given her a good clean - so this is all you get for now!

Red leather... saucy! Looks a nice spec.

I take it the picture's using a fisheye... what camera and setup please?

Welcome - that is an interesting angle... and from what i can see decent spec too... Nav, Cruise, mfsw.

It is indeed tommos old ride, and yes the handbrake needs adjusting - it will fail the MOT in it's current state I am sure. It only just catches at full extension, and I'm not parking on any hills until it's sorted.

So far I've installed an AUX cable, and treated myself to 4 new tyres. The front right tyre is having real problems staying inflated due to corrosion of the 108 alloys, I've booked them in for a refurb, but finding time to get the tyres to the shop for a week is proving difficult.

The camera is a D300 with a 10.5mm DX fish-eye and Cullman mount.

508 Park Distance Contro
522 Xenon headlights
540 Cruise Control
609 Navigation System Pr
644 Bluetooth phone prep
677 Hi-Fi Sys Prof Carver

I also have a list of jobs that either NEED doing, or WANT doing :)

NEED
- Fix Handbrake
- Fix leaking front right tyre
- Reweld driver side strut mounting
- New bulbs for headlights, and raise up a little - they are dangerously low at the moment

WANT
- Alloy referb
- Caliper referb
- Integrate AUX and Bluetooth cable
- Fix intermittent parking sensors, sometimes they just beeeeeeep and don't work - sometimes it works fine.

I will keep you updated as and when progress is made :)

It does seem to be rather rare, I'm guessing this is probable due to the cost being rather high - I guess most people would go for the sports seats instead.

My girlfriends dad has worked for BMW for 20+ years, and he didn't seem to recognise the leather :)

The only problem I have is that to her I'm driving "just another BMW" because they've always had BMWs as company cars !

I've picked up a mini amp that charges ipods today which makes the sound through the AUX cable so much richer.

I've had the leaking wheel fixed for now until the alloy refurb, and I'm getting my strut mount re-welded tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

RE: changing bulbs for the headlights - is this easy to do without removing the front wheels - or is it a wheel off job? Does anyone have any suggestions for which bulbs to go for, baring in mine I have the Xenon upgrade ?

We are also trying to perfect the camera to take good night shots with the inside of the car perfectly clear, and the outside nice and streaky..
