Well got the Mrs a e85 z4 2.0 as a project car, sorted the rocker gasket with new but still get smoke from drivers side rear of engine, I did use RTV.
I noticed there is a roundish item on back off enginr held in with Allen bolts, this looks damp but no idea what it's called, any help

Might take a while to burn off. Photos of roundish thingy on back of engine might determine what you are looking at :?
