Great motor facevisor, hopefully your weather is now more appropriate. One recommendation would be, as already mentioned, to have the roof motor relocated to the boot from the present position inside the nearside wheel arch (rhd ) or offside lhd. The location is susceptible to water logging and then corrosion. Repositioning in the boot (trunk) is not difficult as it is simply moved inside the bodywork to a drier position on the same side but behind the boot/trunk fabric panelling, a section of which is cutaway to enable that. The clever guy that did mine had pieces of matching material to patch, it's hardly noticeable. He also cleaned up the roof motor. He charged £175. However he is some thousands miles from you! Check on YouTube for an example, maybe a local outfit could do it.
Since I'm keeping my ZMR, purchased 2013 at 48k miles, I recently also had the shell bearings changed for Acl, better quality. I'm now on 79k miles. The bearings that came out were OK but did show some wear. Cost around £800 to do.
A couple of years ago I renewed the brake discs. Apart from tyres, Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, and a new battery, new belt, torq bolt, alternator and servicing that's it. I take it into Europe every Summer.
