Hi all,
Picked the car up 2 weeks ago, managed to clean it this weekend. 2007 in Carbon black, was garaged by last owner for the last 3.5 years, 21k miles, with loads of options including hifi, nav, heated seats, cruise, bluetooth - basically everything I wanted, plus other stuff like folding mirrors, rear sensors, privacy glass, etc.
I was really undecided about whether to go for the M or the 3 litre. I just sold a Z3MR that I had for a year and loved the S50 engine. The S54 is just something else, razor sharp throttle response, sounds absolutely STUNNING!! I'm such a saddo car geek (according to Mrs IKZ4!!) but honestly, what an engine
. Makes me smile just thinking about it, surely one of the best engines ever. Ahem, sorry, bit carried away there...
Anyway, although it's a standard car (save for stubby, just added) it's customary to add pics, so here it is. Please excuse quality of the snaps, used the cheapo camera.
Thanks for all help so far from the forum, very useful info and much appreciated. I'm a pretty hands-on car owner so if I start messing with it I'll post updates. It will be getting a full detail after winter, hopefully at Off Your Marks (it's on the Christmas present list!). Oh, and cupholders, even if they're rubbish!
Cheers,
