New owner Z4 coupe!

Hi everyone.

I picked up my 08 Z4 3.0si Sport Coupe on Thursday night and I've had the biggest smile on my face ever since!
I just keep thinking of excuses to get out in it :)

I had a mini cooper S before which is just no comparison, like walking is to skydiving!

Anyway it's fantastic, rides better than the mini, zero body roll, perfect driving position and that chunky steering wheel!
The power is immense! Feels like 400bhp :). And the sound of the engine is so addictive

.........The only negative is 20-21mpg ;)

Sure is, fastest colour
White is good too though.

Mines got a lot of swirls, I didn't notice when I bought it as it was dark :(

Welcome along. So I'm not the only one who bought a car in the dark than, haha. If you're handy with a machine polisher you should be able to get those out, otherwise paint correction isn't that expensive and can make it look like new (or better).

Thanks, I've had a pro machine polish on another car and it looked amazing, the only issue is that it was used approved so I expected more...

They would use product with heavy fillers anyway so after the first wash all the marks are revealed.

Top choice, I'm working towards the same change at the mo, selling my Cooper S to fund a Z4 Coupe

Chalk and cheese.
I thought minis handled well ;)
Turns out they aren't that special (IMHO)

I had a 3lt Z4 Roadster a couple of years back

Good choice. After being stupid enough to sell my 2008 Couple in the summer, I have just bought another one today! Enjoy your car, they drive great. I agree with previous posts 30 mpg is achievable.
