Hi folks into my first week of Z4 ownership my first impressions, wow man what a car ,just bought a 3.0i se sterling grey with black leather loads of extras its a 54 plate with 20,000 miles on it.I got it for 13950 a right bargain. It comes with a sport button question ,by how much does this increase performance ?

Sorry to dissapoint, but pressing that magical button has no effect on the performance. it does two things,

1. Increases throttle response

2. stiffens steering.

ps need to post some pics before you get hassled.
 
Welcome to the forum! Pictures are a must if you do not wish to undergo constant (and friendly) :poke:.
You will find many here who are knowledgeable and willing to help, all you need to do is ask.
 
Thanks for the welcome everone will post some photos on sunday hopefully.Another question can you change runflats for proper tyres.I have been told it can affect your ins this true .

I've never heard of swapping out the runflats affecting insurance.....but different places = different laws/regulations. Call your insurance agent and ask.

Yes you can change the run flats to "proper" tyres, loads of threads about that, and when I changed, I phoned my insurance Co, they had no problem with it, just said the tyre have to have the proper speed rating.
