Thought I should 'fess up as the new owner of flatout's car ... ;)

Took possession on Thursday, managed to do 300 miles over the weekend in not very nice conditions, but I'm rather pleased with it so far ... :P

Yes, indeed, not very hopeful about the weather mind ... I think we may be standing around looking at the snow.

DN7 - Destination Nurburgring event number 7 at the Nurburgring Nordshleife, April 2&3.

Re. photos - I think that was ironic ...

The Ring was covered in snow for about 3 weeks until a few days ago. The present very strong winds we're having are typical of what happens around the Equinox (21st March), so it seems that the weather might be due for a change soon. Fingers crossed.

Yes,I have been keeping half an eye on the webcams. For what it is worth the long-range forecast has more snow and very low temperatures over the next two weeks, though being optimistic it seems to be turning warmer as we get to 10-14 days time.

And the 'ring is covered in snow again today.
It looks worse than it was with the last lot of snow they had. A quick look at a selection of weather forecast sites suggests that the snow will remain for at least a week and then there's a possibility of a thaw.

LoL. Well I can take a picture tomorrow of it squeezed into the garage ... though it won't be very exciting and it doesn't really look very different from when it was flatout's.

It will do soon though. Inside anyway ...
