I have a soft top and it was running fine until this week. It seemed to struggle to power up and open a couple of times. Then it would just not raise up. Not knowing any better I attempted to help it raise with the power button pushed. It came up by hand (heavy top!) and settled in to the roof where it completed the latch process. The next time I opened it, it unlatched and I simply pushed it open and it flopped into the open position. I can hear everything running but it won’t raise on its own in any direction. It will complete both cycles ( Lock in place) with the button depressed. Any experience to share will be welcome!

Welcome along, it sounds like a motor issue, possibly a lack of hydraulic fluid.
Sorry to disagree. If you can still hear it running I would suggest your bypass is slightly depressed
Check your red bypass loop is not pulled or locked in any way- as that will make a difference
Obviously get the roof motor relocated if it’s not already been done
The slowness of movement sounds also to me that your bypass is depressed. Either that or your pump head (not motor) is on its way out

You just ran into a car you had to purchase. Can you run into my Z4 and purchase for £15k
