New owner inbound!

Morning all,

Complete newbie here and, last night, I put a deposit down on this Z4 (wish I'd seen it at £2.5k :rofl: ) and I'm very much looking forward to collecting it. I decided I had to get a 3.0 manual as anything less would've no doubt disappointed me, having come from a 400+bhp Nissan.

I've only had a couple of experiences with BMWs previously, and neither of them was good, so I'm hoping that my third time's gonna be the charm.

Initial plans are just to get to know the car, although I suspect I'll be on the lookout for some red/clear rear lights fairly soon. :thumbsup:

So "Hi!" and I'll update things once I actually own the car.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. It’s nice to have something to look forward to, especially at the moment.

Thanks, guys - I'm definitely looking forward to getting out and about in the car when circumstances allow.

I'll add a couple later. Twas a 1992 300ZX Twin Turbo SWB. Dyno'd at 407bhp and was a bit of a missile!

The FB ad is newer than the one on here, so I assume it had the correct price on it.

I used to love my Nissans, The 300ZX TT was a proper supper car in it's day. Some times wish I had bought the one I test drove back in 2001. The FIAT Coupe I did by that day ran rings around it through the turns though. :driving: Unfortunately being a FIAT, also blew up an awful lot. :lol:
 
I have the 3L 6 pot - Love it in front of the 6spd gearbox. It's a regular joy to drive on a mountain road. Enjoy the drive ..... eventually :cry:
