New owner from Surrey

Hi all

Picked up my 2004 Z4 3.0i manual last week. Couldn't quite stretch to a newer 3.0si but I'm very happy with what I've got!

Weekend/sunny day car, I have a MK5 Golf 2.0 GT TDI as my daily... so nice to have some raw power again!

Unfortunately I haven't been blessed with the good weather yet... as I type this it is pelting down with rain! So I used the time to use the sound generator mod, so hopefully can hear that soon with the top down :-)

Paid a bit more than perhaps I'd like as it's that time of year, but I seriously struggled to shift my old Audi S3 which ended up taking me 3 months... so was a little late in getting my Z4!

Seems like a very nice forum.

Nothing wrong with an 04 3.0l zed, also best wheels imo :thumbsup:

The sun will be along soon enough for plenty of top down :driving:

Ha ha! Seeing as we share an 04 3.0l zed and the wheels I'd be inclined to agree!! Fortunately roof motor has been repaired too just prior to me buying it. Just dead chuffed at what good nick the cars in!

I may need to ditch the runflats... any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum OP - lovely looking Z4 you have. Those wheels looks great, sadly not offered on the Sport model. :(

Agree to getting some foam out of the sound generator, but my latest has stainless centre and rear sections and that sounds even better (wish I knew where it came from)!

Hope we get some decent weather soon so you can enjoy it properly! :driving:

FWIW I'm about 1 mile from Surrey in Sandhurst - there seem to be quite a few Z4 owners over this way.
